Title: RE: [Mjpeg-users] Error Audio ring buffer overflow
I've spent good deal of time trying to fix this problem and concluded that the problem lies in the Zoran driver or hardware. I've tried, different audio cards, even different video cards DC10 and G400. From earlier posts, it seems the d
Title: RE: [Mjpeg-users] Which filesystem with vanilla-kernel?
I prefer ReiserFS, for few reasons:
1. No messing with kernel patches, I use kernel 2.4.20
2. Uses disk space efficiently.
3. Deletes big files allot faster than any other file system.
4. Recent release is reliable, although ther

I believe there should be software solution for this, thats if you are
trying to convert DV PAL to DV NTSC or you'll need two machines.
One machine playing DV PAL to ADVC100 and other receiving from
ADVC.
In initial post you said, all you want to
Title: RE: [Mjpeg-users] DV standard
I believe PAL and SECAM used in Europe mostly, maybe Asia also, NTSC used in North America.
Althought any of those standards should be okay, the thing you should worry about is what region you'll use.
Do some reasearch about DVD regions. Most DVD players li

I noticed that when frames are inserted they are always corrupted, is there any way to fix that? And what would cause those curruptions? I'm using G400, 512Mb ram, 1.4G CPU, HPT370 RAID0, SA6R. I ran several tests and was able to record about 8 hours of vid

Does lavrec support creating AVI files over 2Gigs or whats the limit? On my system it seems to stop at 1,780Mb, with "Number of given output files reached" message, even thouh ./configure script showed glibc support for >2GB files : true. As far as I know

Title: help - lavrec problems
After many tries I compiled and installed mjpegtools-1.6.1, no quicktime, no divx, no Gtk+ support. Now I can record for few minuters, sometimes can't record at all but get "i33 STOP, hard " and "Error reading audio: Reason: Error Audio ring buffer overfl
