Hi there!
I just noticed that the sections on burning CDs and DVDs are no longer
present in OpenBSD's FAQ related to multimedia.
Is this intentional? I didn't see anything on this on tech@ or misc@...

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!!
Just updated via ports and thunderbird is fine again!
Hi there!
My proxy server running privoxy and squid died the other day and as a
replacement I set up
an old Thinkpad T60 running ~i386-current:
OpenBSD 6.0-current (GENERIC.MP) #2009: Sun Aug 7 20:43:06 MDT 2016
(Full dmesg at the end.)
I have the following in /etc/rc.conf.local:

For some time now I cannot copy-paste text from a xterm window by

Anyone an idea?
TIA.

Hi there!
Trying to use the latest available snapshot of amd64-current I notice
that lately firefox and thunderbird crash way too often. Does s.o. else

This still persists. New dmesg for #2127 below.
@Stuart: Please note that with this version of ~current-amd64 reports
"mmap W^X violation" for thunderbird.

Hi there!
Running the latest available amd64-snapshot I noticed that when trying
to print from a web-page to a local file (PDF) firefox (and xombrero)
reliably crash.

Hi there!
I have 2 i386- and 2 amd64-machines, all running ~current. All report in
/var/log/messages lines like the following:
May 23 15:01:57 idefix ntpd[19978]: tls connect failed:

Hi there!
Today I fetched the latest sources from http://ftp.hostserver.de and
rebuild GENERIC.MP (dmesg at the end) and userland. Then moved on for X.
I followed the instructions on "5.4 - Building X"
(http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq5.html#Xbld):
$ doas rm -rf /usr/xobj/*
$ cd /usr/xenocara/

Hi there!
Out of curiosity: What is the rationale behind the last sentence in FAQ:
14.21.5 - Softraid notes:
"You may not want to specify the root device by DUID."
I dare to ask as the installer sets DUIDs for every partition incl. "/". With
this in mind I wonder why the root device should not
