That is similar to my recent problem — re

Same problem here.
Seemed to start when I upgraded to MacOS 10.15.7 last night though may
be a coincidence.
Seems to be related to connecting to a particular IMAP source.
Not related to version of Mailmate as I tried reverting to latest pubic
build (r5673) and no difference.

I'll chime in here with my own observations:
* The processes seem to be related to opening new emails (I get both an
"about:" and some number of MTLCompilerServices)
* The processes don't seem to spawn when opening a previously-opened
email
* W.R.T. memory consumption -- I haven't noticed whet

Thanks for the details. Let's debug this one off list.

Please also send me the output (after a crash) in a Terminal window if you
launch MailMate like this:

That makes sense.

With regards to memory consumption, I should clarify: the numbers I
quoted include all of the processes spawned by MailMate. Currently,
according to Activity Monitor, MailMate itself is running at a
(relatively) svelte 950MB, and My All Messages shows 311097 (with All /

What you describe is a case when the account is taken offline in MM.
Such a thing happened to me a couple times when one of my providers had

I doubt this is even remotely related but I will say that for some MM
users (i.e. ME), inadvertently wiping out mail can be quite easy.
Here’s how it happened…

As you suggested, I used the "take account online" function, which
turned the source account back from red to black, and all the folders

Thanks again to Robert and Bill!
The problem finally resolved when I changed the ports that had always
worked until today (995, 465) to 993 & 587.
