Hi, all,
ML has changed things a bit. Is there still a way to have Voiceover in the
login screen? I can't seem to find that option anywhere.
Thanks,
Teresa

Hmmm, as far as I can tell, when you use VO-shift-m on the dock, it just lists
options for manipulating the folder. If you use this keystroke in the dock,
find the "open folder" option and hit enter. Otherwise, simply open the folder
from the finder with command-option-l. Then find your items an
Go to dropbox in the Extras menu and open preferences from the menu. Uncheck
"show desktop notifications."

Before I disabled the Mission Control keystroke, it would come up every time I
used VO-up-arrow, which contains the control-up-arrow keystroke. That's
probably what's happening in a lot of cases.

Yes, Al, I noticed this, too. Tab with spacebar is the best bet. You could also
turn cursor tracking off and then use VO to check the boxes, but that seems
like the long way round. I don't have an explanation for this behavior, but the
workaround is quite doable, so I haven't really pursued it.
Hi, all,
Has anyone had success using Time Machine inside Mail and other apps? In Mail,
I can't seem to manipulate the time and date selector, for example.
Is there a way to go into Time Machine's folders and examine the data there?
I'd prefer to use the interface, if it's accessible.
Thanks,
Hi, Mary,
Disclosure triangles are used for examining files or browsing for them within a
dialog. Suppose you want to save a file and you want to save it somewhere other
than the default location listed. You can press VO-space on the disclosure
triangle and this will open up a display of folder
Hi, Brian,
In Gmail, you can first set up labels and then set up filters to allow messages
to be sorted by these labels. However, this requires a lot of website
navigation. You can do this from any computer using any platform.
In Mac Mail, you would first create new mailboxes from the mailboxes
My personal preference would be to use the Reminders app for appointments.

Ok, one of my notorious "just wondering" questions.
I've heard many discussions about whether screen curtain saves battery life in
laptops and the smaller devices. I'm wondering if screen curtain works by
modifying information that's already been passed to the display, or whether it
bypasses th
