My greatest annoying thing about Skype is that the speaker volume is very low.
Even pressing the Speaker button doesn't seem to let me raise the volume of the
sparker, which seems to be mimicking a telephone handset, even when on speaker.
For this reason, no one at the market believes me when
I've set up Facebook in Notification center and allowed it access, etc. It
makes the cool RPG noise when I post, but my post doesn't show up on my wall.

Heh. Yes, there's a CF card in the reader, and I've tried all two ports on my
MBP, and don't have another computer to test the reader. The card reads fine
in my old PacMate, just not when plugged into the reader into a USB port.

yesterday? Toggling VoiceOver is a fix for a few things that get lost when
switching states or modes.

Which command is this? I can select any portion of an Email, copy it to the
pasteboard, then launch Textedit with a keystroke and paste it in. Which other
way is there to do this?

So, where do you get such a "cheap mixer," that handles 3.5 MM (1/8 inch) or
1/4 inch (Presumably 7 MM?) i/o? I'd LOVE to mix my stuff before it goes into
my 2.1 system, or into my hearing aid streamer box, for better volume
equalization particularly.

What I do for this, at least at the moment until I get a USB mic or a smaller
3.5MM mic input that doesn't burn out when I hook it straight to the line-in on
the Mac, for now, I use my guitar amplifier to boost the signal from an old
Shore concert mic--ball and stick, heavy as hell, but I can no
YOu could use Keyboard Commander on a full sized keyboard to launch the app
that is notification center, except I can't find it on a quick search.

to the top of the list, press VO Shift Function left arrow. Replace
