This does not work for me here, either Cara's approach or Tracy's, which I
think are actually the same. Any thoughts on some other possibilities? I've
been able to view the details of apps in the mac app store previously on

Hi Veronica
I would try changing the ports selection from trying 25 465 and 587 to just use
587. If you go to the accounts tab then the accounts information tab. Select
the edit smtp server option from the outgoing mailserver pop up. Select the
button that says custom port and pop the number

I search the list archive to see if I could find anything about this and didn't
come up with anything, so forgive me if this has been asked before.

Good to see your still out there. Haven't heard from you in a long time. I
think you will enjoy mac os very much once you learn how voiceover works. It
took me a long time. Do hang in there with it if you get frustrated.

need to make sure that you have itunes set to not sync all content. I can't

Hi Christine
I have never seen this before. I guess you should try deauthorizing the mac.
Then make sure that the mac has the same itunes username as the windows
machine. Reauthorize and then sync the phone.
If you continue to have problems make an appointment at your nearest Apple

A few things that you will want to do. First if you are looking to navigate by
artist and album you should turn on the playlist browser by pressing command b.
It will announce show column browser. This will show up between the sources
table and the track table now called music table.

Some folks are able to save hotspots across reboots and others aren't. It
would be good if we could figure out what it is that causes this difference.
If you are looking for garageband hotspots than get quickkeys and Brian Smart's

The new mac book pro is a dual core i7 in the 13 inch and a quad core in the 15

will make quite a bit of difference. Other than that I wouldn't worry about

The size of mac software and windows software isn't comparable. Different
