Hello William You didn't mention anything about your network typology. What kind of internet provider do you have? Cable dsl fiber? What kind of router do you have between your devices and that provider? You will want to measure the traffic going through that router. The tool that you use to measure the amount of bandwidth you are consuming will depend on the router. It's also possible that your ISP can tell you about your usage. They probably won't give you a detailed report. If you really want a detailed report you would probably need a device that supports that sort of thing.
BTW 2 gb is not very much traffic at all considering what you say your using the link for.
