I would suggest you switch to Alex or if you still want Samantha as your system

What are you talking about? You can use both Acapela and Scansoft voices on the
Mac. For the Acapela voices you downloaded Infovox Ivox and for the Scansoft
voices they're actually known as the Nuance Vocalizer voices you can download
them for free from the Voiceover Utility.

Hi. The authentication message gets spoken when the screen goes to sleep. This
is why I set my energy saver preferences to put the screen to sleep after 10
