First bring up the spot light search with command space. Next after you type in
you're search term use the up and down arrow keys to move through the search
results.

Don't hit enter just arrow down when you have typed your search terms.

I can't find any reliable way to rename a table in numbers under mavericks. I
know the help system says to triple click on the table name, but I can't always
get the mouse onto the table name. when I navigate to the table in the sheet

Hi all,
I have never been a big fan of the Mac mail search, and I don't use it that
often. Having just recently upgraded to Mavericks, I kept my classic mail view,
and today was the first time I tried to do a search in mail. In the tool bar, I
found the search box and typed in my term. It seems
Folks,
I've used the sweetwater web site for years and never had issues until a few
weeks ago. Whenever I go there now and try to do a search then bring up the web

exit the rotor, I can technically navigate the site ite
Searching in mail isn't my favorite thing either.
Turn quick-Nav off. Hit command-option-f to get to the search field. Once you
enter your keyword, arrow down, this is where you can narrow down your
selections such as sender, subject, etc. I think once you come across the one

I use Spotlight, even to find an email. It works fine for me, even when I can't
remember what I did with the thing.

Howdy.
I can confirm this problem. It seems to be caused by the email signup form
further down the page. It happens if with vo-j as soon as vo hits that area.
Also, if I move vo from the bottom of the page with vo-left, it will happen as
soon as it hits the signup button. It works fine if I
Ah, thanks for the confirmation. I'll experiment with turning off styles and
see if anything is broken.

In Mail search, the results come up in a message table similar to the ones you
find in folders. The thing that's different is that you have to stop
interacting with the search input area first, which is part of the toolbar.

Hi Teresa & all,
Heres the easy way to search in mail.
Mark hotspots for each thing that will be needed to jump to.
IE Message table, the actual search field, and at least one of the things you
want limit the search to, like from or to or subject.
It gets very fast even before the first coffee! LO
Hi Slau,
have you informed sweetwater about this?
They are extremely helpful about things like that.

Can't answer your question, as I never use week view. But I suggest trying
month view as a work around. For VoiceOver users I can't see what benefit there
is to week view. Month view allows you to navigate from day to day and hear the

This has been discussed on this list before. Anne Robertson gave detailed

the format inspector, navigate to cell a1 in the table, turn on mouse keys,

If you do a google search for email sms or mms, you can find a list of

phone, and my husband has a tracfone, and I text him a lot using Mac Mail.
I wonder why I couldn't find Anne's tip in the Mail-archive. Oh well, I did the

1) route mouse to cell A1.
2) turn on mouse keys and press numrow 8 ((mouse up) 25 times. When VO is set
to announce why is under the mouse, you will "a referenc

I got my mac several months ago and have moved quite a bit of data over from my

My question is do I move them into bookmark
I don't know for sure, but I don't think the toolbar search box is what you
want. Try the cmd-option-f search instead. Also, don't forget that vo-cmd-t

Plus, Messages on mac is good for more than iMessages. I set it up to use for

for a lot of different services. Nowadays, so many people have s

Hi Don,
I don't have the answer, but I am facing the same problem. I have a windows XP

Hi,
This explanation is for exactly that. On a laptop keyboard, when MouseKeys is
active, the 7, 8, 9; u, i, o; j, k, l; and m, comma and period act as your
NumPad. So, as Phil mentioned, the "i" key would be the centre and thus the
mouse-click key.

Hi all,
I was playing around and found that something interesting happens in Mavericks.
Open some text, like an email or other edit field, and interact. Hit
vo-cmd-enter, then vo-arrow aways and hit vo-cmd-enter again. You can then hit

Hello,
I know this response may be off topic to this list, but I want to give you a
possible solution to move your favorites in IE. This is how I have done it in

VO-Cmd-Return is the command to select non-contiguous items in a list.
VO-Return is the Select Text command.
