Yes. We've already had a couple of people supported by one MDPH or another. The
MDPH normally pays about 75% of the cost.

Hi.
Do any of you happen to know, if I can get a program for the mac, that make it
possible easy to switch between external soundcard and external soundcard, it
would be great, if it could work with a hotkey. Can I in any way use an
external soundcard and still have VoiceOver sound to play thro
Hi all,
Are there any apps that can be used for face recognition?
For example, is there any app which can tell us the name of a person after
seeing his/her photo?
The app, of course, should be accessible with VoiceOver.
So, please do let me know if you're aware of any such apps.
Cheers,
Rahul
I believe that iphoto does this. I've not had any chance to test this but from
what could be possible, iphoto has auto recognition, so adding a name to a face
profile, should allow auto identification, if it's within the mac intself.

Hello I tried that and It wouldn't pair, that was the first thing I tried. Is
there a way to reset the bluetooth settings all together?

Hi Ed,
I recall that you posted on the mac-access list about using the Mac apps
iKeyboard and Type2Phone paired to your iPhone. I'd guess that either one of
these apps will act as though a Bluetooth keyboard is paired with the iPhone,

Thanks Ester, I did make sure that the iKeyboard program wasn't paired. I
finally did get it to pair. I think it was pure dumb luck though. I also

volume buttons at the same time. Thanks for your suggestion, I will rememb

Hi there Ed,
Do you get anything through your headset? If not, VO isn't the problem. I
assume you made sure Bluetooth is on and all the other obvious possibilities
have been checked.

Hello all,
Ok, for the last hour or so, I've been reading material on the web about using
an external hard drive between mac/pc's.
If I understand this correctly, I can partition the external drive into 2
sections. One can be fat32 for windows and one can be mac journal something.

So, the holidays are wrapping up, and I'm guessing most of us will be taking

Something I read about today was creating a separate iTunes library just for
holiday music. I found this idea kind of clever. Has anyone gone this way?

Hi. Since I started using iTunes, I've maintained a separate library for
Christmas music. My reasons for doing this were that I didn't want my
Christmas music syncing over to my iDevices, and I also wanted that music
sorted in to multiple genres. At the end of each year, I create a disk image
*Smile,* now I have some more questions.
How do I make a disk image? If I go to this separate holiday library, how do I
move my current holiday music and playlists to that new library?
I've been trying to find more info on the grouping field, with no luck. I was
wondering if I could organize

Hi There.
Usually, whenever I've trouble with rairing Bluetooth devices, I have restarted
both devices, totally turning them off and starting over. This has usually
worked for me. I had my iPhoone refuse to refuse to pair with my Apple
Bluetooth keyboard once, and that's how I resolved it.

Hi,
it sounds to me like your headset doesn't support A2DP. If this is indeed the
case, you will need to check if there is a firmware update for your headset
that adds support for A2DP or, by a new headset that does.

You could do that, but it will take some time to back all that data up. Of
course no matter what you do you should have a good backup. You could try a
tool like Drive Genius or a program that will let you repartition the drive
without trashing the data. You could certainly save the money and jus
