There is some more info on Braille displays and a list of supported Braille
displays on apple website Accessibility and Voiceover.
I have been using Focus 40 I purchased 4 years ago, and it's doing fine. It's a
usb model. Bluetooth models are also supported but have a look at the listt.

Hi, Braille displays are a very personal thing, much like voices and voice
settings. What feels comfortable in my hand may not be comfortable in your
hand. The shape of the cells and positioning of the keys is extremely
important. So, I suggest you feel as many displays as you can to determi
This is the solution that came to mind for me as well. I have a few Apple

Hi,
I download Bookshare books in BRF. I use an app called the Unarchiver. It works
great. You just have to type in your password when unzipping, and it'll do it
for you. I've never downloaded a book in Daisy, but I don't see why this pp

Hi Priscilla
If you go to Sarotalk.com, there is a podcast where there is a demonstration of
the Mac version of Docuscan with the camera done by Rickie Enger. I just

The regular price is $299. The camera is $499.00. You can't

Use VO-keys (control-option)-spacebar to select a piece and the same key
combination to drop the piece on the intended square.
If you have an iOS device and enjoy chess, checkout CHess-Wise and/or Shredder

Hi T,
Sure, you will love it the day the Mac will hit your doorstep. VO has a way to

The Mac software isn't out just yet. They said on the Podcast that it will be
