There is some more info on Braille displays and a list of supported Braille displays on apple website Accessibility and Voiceover.
I have been using Focus 40 I purchased 4 years ago, and it's doing fine. It's a usb model. Bluetooth models are also supported but have a look at the listt. Here is the link Learn more about supported braille displays Archie Robertson and Ann Robertson ffom Cecimac have enhanced the use of Braille displays for those of us who need to work with foreign languages by adding access to numerous languages via their native Braille systtem. If you need this type of support ask for Ann Robertson on the list. Ann and Archie are very busy with work and support for French mac users but they are extremely kind and have done wonders for Braille users who require this medium in other than English language. Hope this helps. Simon On 17 Apr 2011, at 02:07, Scott Howell wrote: > Hi Priscilla, > > Welcome to the Mac. WEll I use a Refreshabraille, which is only 18 cells, but > it works perfectly for me.
