Hi all,
There is a little known, but very useful feature in VoiceOver on the Mac called
hotspots. Want to know what they are, and how you use them? My podcast will
explain everything you need to know about them. I should get the link to it to
the list by the end of the day today. Take care all.

Do you leave your Mac on for long periods of time? Do you use sleep more than
shutdown? Do you have one or more VMs using a lot of RAM? I wonder if this is

mbp. So, that wouldn't support this theory. But, I can sure empathize with

Hi all, I am having a problem trying to use the App Store on my Mac.
What I do is go into the Finder and from the Apple menu I select App
Store. When it opens I search for a program with COMMAND F. In the HTML
section it will say "Buy xxx". I press VO SPACE on that and I get a

You aren't doing anything wrong. The link should go dimmed which means you
can't press it anymore. When the app finishes downloading, it'll appear in your
dock.

Hi,
I am attempting to use 1Password on the Mac. I downloaded it and my unarchiver
software unzipped it. I moved the 1Password app to my applications folder and
opened it. All VoiceOver tells me is that 1Password has no windows. There are
no menus or anything. What am I doing wrong?

experience with the reader, automatic reading of all starts when I enter the
reader. I don't have to start a read all procedure. But I also
I can no longer activate a context menu with VOShift-m to call and perform
other functions for a contact.

You're correct, Geoff shouldn't have to start an explicit read all with the
Command-Shift-R Safari reader shortcut. At least, automatic start of reading
works for me with my default VoiceOver settings. I think there are some

and have not encountered that issue. Two suggestions is first turn VO off/on,
