If you read the following message that I posted to a different list several days ago, then please accept my apologies in advance. Having heard nothing from the other list, I have decided to widen my search for information.
Hello everyone, I am finding it increasingly difficult to write and am giving serious consideration to voice input to ease the strain. However, before buying Dragon Dictate, I have a few questions: 1. I write in both English and German and was wondering if there was one program that handled both languages. In other words, do I need two separate installations of Dragon Dictate or will one work okay. 2. Is it possible to use the internal microphone for voice input and use headphones for the output? If not, what hardware configuration (earphone/microphone combination) works best? 3. Is it possible to somehow properly configure Voice Over and attach the BrailleNote Apex so that I could monitor text output as I spoke? 4. Does Dragon Dictate require extensive "training" and if so, can this be accomplished without sighted assistance? 5. Have I asked too many questions? :) My best to all of you and much gratitude, too!
