You're correct, Geoff shouldn't have to start an explicit read all with the 
Command-Shift-R Safari reader shortcut. At least, automatic start of reading  
works for me with my default VoiceOver settings.  I think there are some 
settings (and I'd have to check back in the VoiceOver Utilities settings) in 
which he might not automatically start reading, so I added that in case.  (I've 
been fooling around setting up a new MacBook Air for someone who is not a 
VoiceOver user, so I've been in and out of VoiceOver, and also changing a lot 
of settings.)

I'm not even sure whether the Safari Reader function was discussed before on 
this list; I know that it was mentioned on the mac-access list.
