Hi everyone,
This is a question for those on the list who use their MBps to run Windows.
When I get my new Mac, I will need to run Windows for my new potential job.
How does the 2GB of RAM do the job and how much of the GD do you generally
give up to the virtualization software?
Thanks

Hi James,
Virtualising does the job for most things, although once the novelty
wore off I started to find the slight lag in performance irritating.
If I was doing something where I needed both OS's to be available to

Hey James.
I worked at a mac shop and the tech there told me to use 768 mb or ram
for xp. He said that he seems to get th best performance with that
amount. I'm using fusion hear with 768 ram and I get not too bad
performance but I wouldn't want to be running anything real intense.

Has anybody figured out a way to relyably add somebody into a
conference that's calling you? Or to hang up on somebody if you
conference them in by going to the main skype window, finding them and
hitting add to conference, , , and they don't answer?
On Jul 22, 2009, at 2:28 PM, Darcy Burna
I have had more than ten but we did it by piggybacking. which means
that several people in the conference call someone else. In other
words, the third person can call more people.

In the review, I could've sworn I heard Cydia spoken. It was when he went to
page two of his apps. It's probably jailbroken and unlocked in that case.

If your machine has a line in then audio recorder will have that as an
option. I primarily use that for recording live events from a feed off
the house sound system.

Blake is right on the money. Listen at 4:13 and you'll hear Cydia
announced, just after Fring and Facebook on page 2 of the apps.
So there's your answer Will, they don't have it any easier in Ireland
than we do lol.

Hi,
First convert them to *.Aiff or from what I hear *.m4a and *.mp3 work.
Then move them to ~/Libary/ Sounds/ I do believe for them to be
available in your user account and not system wide, where "~"
represents your home folder for the current user. You can also place

Hmm, thanks for the tip, will have to check that out then. The only
other option is to convert via use of cable to usb. Will check in to
this down he line once a few things are straightened out around here,
unfortunately this has been a chaoticsummer here, not mac related
