Money reader was crashing constantly, so I rebooted the phone, deleted it out

What does that have to do with using a money reader app? Once a visually
impaired person knows where the camera on the mac is, there's no issues at

As far as I know, Money Reader works only on iOS devices, not an
actual mac. It is a simple, yet amazing app: as long as you have
enough light, just hold your iTouch's camera about six inches or so
above a bill and it will tell you that bill's denomination. No need to
snap a
turn VoiceOver off.
I am using U.S. money, but people here are saying that other money seems to be
a problem. It's just slower than it used to be.

Just check the app store on your phone or touch. Check the updates tab, if
there is no update then it is the most recent update. It should be showing up
as Money Reader once it is installed.

for all of them. The only thing it didn't recognise was a Scottish pound note.
1 pound notes are not generally available, so this is no surprise. Also, it
works whether VoiceOver is turned on or off.

think it's actually the other way around given the variety of currencies that
can be identified.
I think I would prefer fewer stand-alone devices even at home. It's not just
bother carrying the money reader. If I don't know what my
bills are, I sort them before I leave the house. Anything else can usually be
taken care of using the markers on the money.
