This has happened to me once or twice and I've found, simple as it is, that 
rebooting the phone will often correct these weird occurrences. Give it a try. 
In fact, an Apple rep told me   he reboots his phone once a day to make sure 
everything is working as it should - can't hurt and it often helps.
