I had reinstalled all my voices after upgrading to IOS 18. It was funny,
because when I went into Add Voices, there were three things that just said

Yes, I’ve done that twice. When I first activate the rotor and select voices,
it says primary voice selected. Then when I flick up and down, all it gives me
is the primary voice, Nora. It is very strange.

Not sure why, but it worked this morning. After seeing Ray’s message, I
decided to give it another try, and this time the Siri voices were there. We
had just hooked it up when I tried on Saturday, so maybe that had something to

you try to click on Amazon prime video, it will switch back to the Samantha

No need for Apple ID. You can download enhanced voices through VoiceOver
Utility, Speech, under the Voices tab. Interact with the Customized language
list table, locate the pop-up with the current selected voice, and choose
Custom from there. All the voices, both compact and enhanced

I find alex a bother, too cute by far with those distracting attempts to sound
human but missing the mark.
I use tom which has none of the alex faults but perfectly intelligible and does

taking much notice of this side of things but do badger them as

I’ve used VO-CMD-Shift-arrows to select voices but there are too many and so it
