If it is not an aluminum Macbook, I don't think it has it. However, if it does,
go straight downwards from the 1/8 inch jack plugs almost all the way to the
bottom, and check for a small, circular indent. It's not that noticeable if you
don't feel around carefully for it.

All MacBooks have had the battery gauge, but it's always been on the bottom
