Hi,

That'd be the whole point of it. If you're in a hurry, and if you want to 
decide whether or not it is worth taking along the charger for your Mac, it's 
just a lot easier not to waste power actually booting up, checking battery, 
then either putting it to sleep or shutting it down. You could definitely save 
a minute.
