Hi ray,
I can take a stab at some of these questions.

The preview pane, as far as I understand it, is the third column of the new

Hi Chris,
The save button is there, if you stop interacting and move left to the headers
group, and interact there. You may need to select a button to show more
details, but that button definitely exists. I've just confirmed it in the new

Hi Donna,
The simple explanation is that Voiceover's trackpad gestures are quite
independent of the things sighted people do with the trackpad. We had them

Hi DOnna,
Can you clarify this a bit? I see unread and read message status just fine,
though the status does change because of the way I have my preview pane set up.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Dona,
I'm not sure what is happening in your case. I didn't have an install failure,
and in fact the whole process was quite seamless. I'd recommend trying again,
after perhaps restoring to a known good backup of 10.6.8 if you have one, just
to be sure. All I did when installing was click

Hi Mary,
Indeed it is. There is an option to use the classic layout, more or less
identical to the SL way of doing things. This is in the View tab of Mail
preferences. You can use VO to read only subject lines in the same way you do
now.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Dona,
Yes, this is the what happens. You can monitor the progress of the download
via the purchases button in the toolbar. Also, the installer will open
automatically when the download finishes.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Brandon,
The voices download from within VoiceOver Utility, on the speech tab. THe way
to do this is to find the default voice popup button and select it, then find
the customize item and select that. From there, you have a table of checkboxes
which you can click to select individual voices
Hi SHannon,
When I upgraded, my messages were not lost. They are in IMAP folders, so that
might have something to do with it, but I doubt it. Apple wouldn't force you
to lose messages that way.
Best,
Zack.

Hi,
It downloads to the Applications folder, and will begin installing once it
finishes.
Best,
Zack.

Hi,
You can also do what a sighted person would and hit ctrl while tapping the
trackpad or mouse button. I do this occasionally and it seems to work, along
with option-clicking, which is sometimes necessary.
Hope this helps,
Zack.

Hi Chris,
When in a table, investigate single and double presses of vo-c and vo-r. Those
will read you the sorts of information you're requesting, I think.
THe only really clever things I can think of involving tables are for tables in
OS X in general. You can use vo-cmd-backslash to move to th
