Hi, I’m looking for a recommendation for a text editor that will support
exporting of HTML from a document marked up with markdown. I have Byword which
does this but looking for other options that people like.

Sorry, too many lists. I believe that the creator of downcast is working on a
mac client but I don't think it is out yet I found a few in the Mac app store
but I haven't tried any of them.

I have used it a bit gut I am not that impressed with it. I need. Fairly high
magnification for it to be useful for me and the cursor tracking doesn't work
well for me when zoomed right in. If your friend only uses moderate zoom then
it might work ok for her.

Speaking of noises, when you hear the more available chirp, How do then hear
the extra aailable info. For anyone not sure what noise I mean, press VO+H and
go down to the sounds help. In here you can hear all the different VO sounds
and what they are supposed to indicate.

Command Option Shift+H will toggle the favorites bar. When shown, it is the
next element past the tool bar. You cna of cours just jump up to your view menu

You mentioned wanting to be able to save some of your podcasts, in Downcast you
can tap on the More Details button next to the episode you want to keep and
toggle the Lock/unlock button. From here you can also export the episode.

Not sure if there's a way to upload through the web interface. However there is
a client you download to your Mac. It will create a local folder like Dropbox
or google drive. You can than just copy files into the folder and they'll be
uploaded to skydrive.

All the interacting in iTunes can be annoying at times. But overall I like the
interaction model. Ricardo if you ever find yourself using iTunes on windows
try the F6. It jumps you past some of that tabbinghell.

I think the heat comes from the processor rather than the disc drive. The thing
is that there is very little space in the air so you feeall the heat coming
straight through the body. It probably uses the case as a sort of heat sink.
