There seems to be a few interesting things happening when coming out of lock screen since the update. For me it's the same. The phone gets activated even though I have put focus on another app. Also I have found myself in editing mode twice now since the update. To be clear, I unlock the screen and try to do something but find that I have been put into editing app mode. It seems to be to do with the timing. You can't unlock the screen and immediately attempt to take an action as you could previously. You need to give the iPhone a second or two.
