Lyx. I thought I was the only one. :-) The only solution I found was the old
"copy and paste". But that was when I had only 5 pages written. I hope I find

choose close all float, the cursor is set to the end of the document. Would

Yes, that seems to be a likely source of error. So, where do I find it?
I did a search on babel on ctan but didn't find it there. Should have

I had this problem under Vista 32Bit as normal user and under Win7 64Bit as
admin:
When MikTex has to install some package the Windows UAC prompt should appear.
Instead Lyx hangs. Opening Taskmanager shows, that the "consent.exe" is
running, but not showing. As soon as I kill "cmd.exe" that in
m equation type, macro, layout, whatever ...
that LyX can translate visually?

My guess is that the font problem does not refer to the text but to text
embedded in the graphic. Change this text or leave it out of the picture and

oes! Update DVI works well again and my TOC which was
gone in 1.0.2 (only with book (koma-script)) is back too!!

Try to use the lscape package. Then add \begin{landscape} in front of your
table and \end{landscape} after it. Be warned: the text will not be rotated in
you dvi-preview but it will look right in ps-preview.
