OK, I was able to resolve the PDF-Problem by re-setting the "is a
Vector-Graphics-Format" checkbox.
But the other Problems persist.

PS: I already updated Miktex 2.6, I did a complete uninstall of lyx, and
I tried both versions of lyx (lyx.org, and berlios) and I'm using Vista
32bit
