Hi all,
I am looking for Lyx 1.5.2 binaries for Ubuntu. In the directory
ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.5.2/, the Debian files are not
downloadable.
Does anybody has an idea why this can be, or knows another source?
Thanks for your help,
Fritz

Right-click any toolbar, but make sure you
don't hit any of the buttons. Then you'll get a choice

Thanks for your help - now it works.
One more question: Which is the most appropriate version for Ubuntu 7.10:
lyx-1.5.2-1_dapper_i386.deb
lyx-1.5.2-1_etch_i386.deb
lyx-1.5.2-1_i386.deb
What are the differences?

The backref package does this. Usually, it is loaded together with

I've found what looks like a very small bug in LyX 1.5.2 under at least
OS X. I've not been able to check whether it arises on any other

feature I'd been waiting years for -- thanks LyX developers!) and insert

Hi all,
I'm using LyX 1.4.2 and would prefer NOT to upgrade right now unless someone
knows for a fact that upgrading will fix this problem.
I'm trying to make a document with lots of Inkscape SVG drawings. Because of
time considerations and all sorts of other stuff I'd prefer NOT to convert

I think I understand now. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that LyX uses the
convert program to convert the .svg. If I use convert to convert from .svg
to .pdf, the .pdf has the same problem with the text. However, when I convert
using Inkscape:

Wow. Thanks !! that's exactly what I wanted :)
I had to play with it a little, since apparently hyperref doesn't get along
well with algorithms. I had to put this in the preamble:
\newcommand{\theHalgorithm}{\arabic{algorithm}}
Anyway, thanks :)
