But which symbols?
You seem to want N/Z/Q/C in the menu?
I want alpha,beta,omega,phi,psi in the menu.

Upps... looks like part of my private config sneaked in.
Maybe some 'commit' a level to high.

Hi,
I found rather funny entries in the Insert->Math menu:
1) Array/Cases Environment
Is this a shortcut to what's already possible
with the math-panel. Why making a shortcut here for a
2x2 structure? That's rather arbitrary, isn't it?
Don't see why that should be in the menu.
2) Symbols->Bl
Hey guys,
After an initial bad comment, the slashdotters responded with some very

Hey guys,
I've started clearing up the GNOME frontend so that I can add all the
Dialogs. I've removed the GNOME menubar (and the GNOME window) as it
wasn't working properly. Also, the single window makes it behave more
like the QT2 frontend. Might as well be consistant with our GUII

Here is a small patch that gives Jürgen his bare minimum (a). John will think
that this is icky but are there any other reasons why this isn't Ok? It seems
to me to a quite pragmatic solution.
Would people care to try it out / comment?

Yes, I think it just ignores \r in order to make LyX happy with
windows files. For mac files, we have to take \r in account like a

Playing around I discover that this is acceptable:
\begin_inset FormulaMacro

But this isn't:
\begin_inset FormulaMacro
\newcommand{\bmath}[1]{\mathbf{#1}}
The font-specifier is dropped in the case of macro-arguments.
