well it is basic X design, we can request a size but we don't necessarily
get it. So it's basically the same bug as the opaque-resizing one - for
some reason we don't follow the resizing updates properly. Whether this
is an xforms or lyx bug I couldn't say.
I guess I should look into this someday.
