I noticed Mark Langford shortened his wingspan. Does anybody have any good
input as to any
advantages or disadvantages to either increasing or decreasing the span from
the original design.
I thought maybe the experienced builders in the group could help those of us
early on in the bui

Your question is exactly what each designer asks themselves when they
start to design a new aircraft. Wing span and horse power and how they
relate to each other will determine how an aircraft will perform more

We went around this horn about 6 months ago. Many KRs are flying with the
Diehl wing skins which are about 4 feet, maybe more, longer than stock. My
span is about 23.5' and I believe that stock is 18.5'. I do suggest that if
you want to do aerobatics, that you build it to plans, with the possibl

I asked Bob Polgreen to measure the Diehl wings he purchased from me a few
months back. His measurement was from root to wing tip at the main spar, it was
99.5 inches total. This dimension does not include the wing stub just the outer
wing. I believe the forward main spar is 77.5 inches accordin
