We went around this horn about 6 months ago. Many KRs are flying with the
Diehl wing skins which are about 4 feet, maybe more, longer than stock. My
span is about 23.5' and I believe that stock is 18.5'. I do suggest that if
you want to do aerobatics, that you build it to plans, with the possible
exception of the new wing. I have a heavy KR, 675 pounds, it has long wings
and climbs great. I don't care if I don't have +7G, cause I am not going to
do anything where I need that G rating.

Decide before you start your KR, what you want it to do. Then build it for
that purpose.

See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics
See you at the 2007 - KR Gathering
There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for Flying
has begun.

She didn't say no but Hell no. That the center spar was not strong enough. The
design is 7 g's at 800 lbs. When we go above 800 lbs we no longer have a 7 g
airplane.
