Heck go to the auto paint store to buy paint stripper; they have an aircraft
stripper product with a picture of an airplane on it and right on the side in
big black bold letters says “NOT FOR USE ON AIRCRAFT”. I use it all the time...
it’s called CYA folks!

I searched the web to find the web page for Facet pumps so I could
contact them for some detailed info, drawings, check valves, etc. and
found the following. At that point I decided they weren't going to talk
to me anyway.
NOT INTENDED FOR AIRCRAFT USE

Facet does make a line of pumps with a check valve in them to prevent

Thanks for the info Larry Flasher that's good to know

That sounds like the system I want to use...however I. Might have a backup
pump. Do you switch it on manually or do you use pressure switches and
float switches to operate the pump? Could you send me a schematic?

Hey guys,As many of you know i am running a gravity feed system from a header
tank and also have 2 wing tanks that I have plumbed to a manifold under the
pilots seat to one facet fuel pump that transfers to the header tank. Foralmost
a year now the facet pump has occasionally not worked.. Usuall

on my KR1 I have two fuel pumps to transfer fuel to my header tank from my
wing tanks. I use one way check valves to keep fuel going in the direction I
want .
Aircraft Spruce has them in fuel supply section P/N 10630 or 05-29555
