Quite right Mark. I read too quickly. Sorry :-)

I also have a second Facet that parallels the mechanical to a tee at the 
carb as Dan points out. Last thing we want is a split mechanical diaphragm 
and a Facet that then pumps through it into the sump rather than to the 
carb. The stock Corvair AC pumps were prone to splits until they came up 
with a stronger reinforced disphragm. I think a certified engine (was it 
Franklin?) with one of these pumps actually went down once with this 
failure....check archives.
