Larry Thanks. The RR plans do not give any clue and on top of it the GP 5pt mount has 5/8" 4130 tube with integral round steel bearing plates on the Engine side and it just seemed like something beyond a "Wood Washer" would be needed on the cabin side but no clue. I was thinking 1/8" aluminum f

Most of your certified aircraft have the bolts going from inside out,so that you can put torque stripes on the nuts to make sure there is no movement.And for added protection I would use a bolt and nut that you can cotter pin.But I like as much safety as possible.Just my thoughts. Bob Glidden E
