Steve: I am following Mark Langford's lead and making the deck removable but nither of the (3) different plans sets I have address the atachment details.
This project that I took over has the lower mount to firewall hols in the proper location but the uppers do not match probably done for a 4 pt. attachment commonly used for conv. geared versions but since this is to be a tri-gear the mount was built to allow for a top mount starter position on a Diehl Case. I guess I will use some 1/8" thk alluminum between the wood and a washer and then castle nut & cotter pin. Should get the Nose Gear from Diehl within a week or so Thanx Don ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Steve Glover wrote: > Unless you are making your forward deck removable, I would highly > recommend installing nut plates on aluminum plate.
