Larry Thanks.
The RR plans do not give any clue and on top of it the GP 5pt mount has 5/8" 4130 tube with integral round steel bearing plates on the Engine side and it just seemed like something beyond a "Wood Washer" would be needed on the cabin side but no clue. I was thinking 1/8" aluminum for the minor weight savings but 1/8" thk steel would never bend. I guess placing the castle nut AN310-8 on the engine side would be easier. Now I just have to establish the length of the (5) AN8's but that is easy enough. Should get the nose gear in a week or so and I have lined up someone to fab a 3-gallon aluminum header tank that will over flow the excess to pump suction. How well do vented fuel caps work in place of vent lines for tank vents. I will be making the Fwd deck removable for service access using hinges as Mark did.
