Hi All,
I've been a fly on the wall as of late, and now I'm unsubscribing, but only
because I'm losing my internet for a few months, as I move from OK to Alaska.
Thanks for all the great insights and ideas. You've all been a great wealth of
information. (Most of it good ;) ).
Build safe and
re in OK told me that you should
always ask how people would do it, listen to them, then do it your own way.
Thanks.

Chris, I'm still interested in seeing your Katana's design, if you don't
mind.
If my design works and is close to or better than plans weight, I'll post
how I did it. If not, who knows...I may po

Save the templates to a disk, and take them to Kinkos. Tell them the
directions that are on the website, and give them the disk. It'll cost you
about 15 minutes and $5.00.
That's what I did, and it worked out just fine.

sure what they do (besides generate a vortex), and I just figured
they are a "big plane" thing, and I shouldn't mess with them on a KR. But
obviously they do something, otherwise they wouldn't be there.

If you do that, how does your rudder pedal situation work? Do you have a
removable/movable assembly or something? Or do you just spread your legs
out?
Has anyone done that?

I agree with Velocity Freiberger. Asking stupid questions and saying stupid
things is forgivable, but being downright offensive is not.
Obviously he is in need of information from the list (as are most of us),
perhaps we can put him in a radio silent/receive only mode?

you run it, there is a slight chance something bad could happen before the

Hope this helps.

The cables are too big for the pullies, or the pullies are too small for the
cables, but I haven't dealt with trying to correct that situation yet, since
I'm not to that phase yet.

Fly safe. I'll be flying on Friday (not making it to Red Oak), and I hope I
don't have to talk to anyone on guard, even though it would make my mission

I think there is a search on the site, so it would be easy to see if they

I printed a set at Kinkos. I think it cost me about $5.00.
I just showed up with a 3.5 Floppy with the PDF on the disk, and said "Print

I'm not sure what the rules for international flight are for sure (probably
depends on what country you are in, and if you happen to be bombing that
country at the time), but that is the main reason I want the airplane set up
for IFR... (Not that I plan on flyin

correctly, it may be as simple and cheap as wrapping the box in chicken
