I'm looking into widening my cockpit. I've heard many people have done this successfully. What factors (other than canopy size) should I be taking into consideration? I assume the wider, the better. I've found a canopy that is designed to be 44" wide, so I'm wondering if I should get it and stretch the cockpit to match.
