I liked the MGL cause that allowed me to get rid of all my other engine
gauges. I did have a carb heat gauge in my panel, but have since removed

If 60" is not to long of a prop, then I would think a two blade would do
just fine. 2200 doesn't need three blades to take the power it has if the
prop is 60". More blades tend to be more inefficient. And more expensive

Well you asked for options. I think all Rotax dealers charge the same
price for parts, so if going with Rotax, it probably doesn't matter which
dealer you use. JImChuk

I rebuilt my Avid Flyer, I installed an MGL E1 engine monitor. It is a 3

About a year ago, I parted out a KR1 with a VW engine on it. I still have
the motor mount. The engine had a Diehl case. I tried to post pics of
this a few days back, but I guess they were to big. If anyone is
interested in it, I can email them to you. $100 plus shipping for the

I didn't follow all of the conversations on this, but the guy who told me
about this insurance does not have any connection with me. He actually
lives about 200 miles from me. He was just telling me what he found and
went with. Mn doesn't require us to have insurance if we don't fly the
plane.
I don't post here very often, but still get the emails. Minnesota where I
live requires liability insurance for airplanes. The state does have a
deal set up though where if you can't get insurance or the rates are real
high, they will insure you though that state run plan. The gross weight

I've got to do some checking on truck shipping for the
VW motor before I list it, that's why it's not on ebay yet. Thanks, Jim
