Don't have a KR anymore, but still a member so see all the messages. When
I rebuilt my Avid Flyer, I installed an MGL E1 engine monitor. It is a 3
1/8" gauge that gives you egt, cht, oil temp, oil pressure, volts, tach,
hobbs, and flight timer. Other things also if you want to get the probes
or senders. I have the Aircraft spruce 4 way switch that switches from one
egt probe to the next, and the bottom half of that switch can be wired to
switch the cht probes. Every reading can be set up with the alarm light
for high or low readings. The monitor will work with most senders so if
you have some of them already, you can use them. The Gauge and the switch
cost about $400. This works good for me, and really uncluttered the
panel. JImChuk
