Refering to my recent post about the problems with getting my 0200 running

sticky exhaust valve so I removed cyl. and found no problem. Oh bummer now

Wow did I ever get my feathers flamed for suggesting that brad may have been

not find any T-88 epoxy. Of the epoxys listed in the Wicks catal
Thanks to Dene Collet I got my radio working with the antenna that I made from

Over the week end I got N211JR out of the hanger and did a static RPM test with
the sturba 60X68 prop. The best I could get with my 0200 was 2400. That gives

I haven't posted any thing for a while but I have been busy working on N211JR

I can't say much though I haven't flown my pacer since Christmas eve. Ever

Larry Flesner. I did a preliminary weight and balance but have added a lot of
things since and I am looking very heavy. You told me once what your empty
weight was but I have misplaced it. what was It.
Thanks to those that responded to my question about weight. I tried the
archives but I rarely have any luck finding what I am looking for. I don't
know why as others get along just fine. My KR2S 0200 was heavy at 775 lbs. but
since have added some instruments and several miles of wiring and i
Don my cowling came from a citabria with 0200. The top is a perfect fit. I
had to cut out a 8" pie shaped peice out of the center of the bottom and it
fits very well.
Some of those cowlings are available used. If I was looking for one I
would get on "Citabria pilots" on AOL. New ones can be bo
at last I am finished with my KR2S (0200). I am waiting on only one thing and
that is my new prop from Ed Sturba. I have not scheduled an inspection yet. I
was hoping that I could get a couple of netters to eyeball it for me as my
local EAA tech counsler has never looked at one.
Hi gang: I have the grove gear and as I pull the plane forward on my hanger
floor the gear spreads out and the tires start running on the inside edges.
When I back up the gear straightins up and the tires are running as they
should. I know that this means that the wheels are castered outward.
Mark I am getting fairly close to that first flight and you said that you
should stick it on with forward pressure every time. Why? I have read
others say not to try to 3 point it like I do the Ciatbria or Pacer. Why

I started my 0200 last night that I removed from my citabria 4 years ago. I
had spent the last week or more getting every thing hooked up properly,. I had
spent a week modifying the exhaust to make it fit inside a streamlined cowling.

About sanding. You guys that are still fiberglassing and sanding, try to do
as much wet sanding as possible, especially if the surface is painted. The
reason is that the fiberglass surface does not conduct away the heat from
sanding. Touch it right after you sand and you will find that a lot of h

Everyone keeps looking at formulas for speed that a prop will give you and
they will never work because they are not air screws. They are air foils
that give a certain amount of thrust at a certain rpm. Thrust overcomes
drag and unless you know how much drag you have you can't predict your
speed.
