Bought this motor to replace the Corvair then sold the plane. Was going to

I think there is some confisuion here.
The EGT would not work on a common exhaust. The downflow probes would be

I had a similar accident last year with a slow rollover that crushed the
turtledeck and broke off the tail. Wings and Spars were fine. The KR is a
tough bird...to a point.

I am very interested too but so busy with my annual on the 172 I have had no
time to call them. I will find time this week. My plan was to add a tab at
the far end of the Aileron and elev that would be 1"x2". It won't take much.
The opposite aileron will need some counterweight added in the
I'll check that out, Thanks

I had this figured out at one time but old age and CRS syndrom has struck
again. On the side of the case were the oil exits and enters, which port is in
and which is out?
Engine mounted and ready to plumb some oil lines.

We need to start planning for our arrival to the KR 50th in 2022. Not sure how
many planes we could get in the air and it won't be live the Bonanza arrivals
but it would be fun to show up with 20 plane at 2 abreast. Just sayin'

Anyone out there? Sure got quite. Must be the nice weather. I owe you guys a
VLOG update. Been busy with a new Spam-Can I bought. A 1956 C-172. Not my
favorite plane but it was offered at a price I could not refuse. Started the
canopy on 886MJ but that has been idle for a week while I do
University project in Canada.

So here is what I have found. Todds is now Aerocanopy in Indiantown FL. They
have Q1 and Q2 forms but the Q2 rear shape is round where the Dragonfly is more
flat on the top and sides. They will build a Dragonfly/KR2S form for $375 and
then canopies would cost $675 each. I am willing to go th

I like it. They claim almost 250 lbs of torque on the 4 banger. Kinda spendy
but I like the concept. Wonder if there are some real world experiences out
there. https://youtu.be/AXddqiuDL2Q?t=230

Recommendations? So I went to Roys and built my 170ci Corvair on Monday. I
was going to run SAE30 for the first 10hrs then Rotella after that, but not so
sure you really need to do that with a straight bore motor.
