> Eduardo,
¡Sos famoso con tu KR! Estaba viendo AOPA Live (April 11, 2019) cuando saqué
esta foto. SOS una inspiración. Me gustaría ver tu KR un día. Everyone, even if
you cannot actually go to Sun n Fun, or other aviation events, AOPA Live is a
way to experience it vicariously. Eduardo is leavi
My experience is DO not lube the nose wheel nylon washer. ( makes the shimmy
much worse). I found since I removed the spring, so the caster wheel will
rotate 180 d so I can push it backwards to park, It needs that nut to be very
tight, in fact it seems too tight by hand, but it needs to be.

Stef,
I recently replaced brake pads on my airplane and had to release the
pressure in the fluid at the lower brake fittings. Both my brakes were
locked down until I released the pressure. I do not have a parking brake.
Thanks,

Stef,
I don't know of any KRs that use a parking brake, so you may not get an answer
here. Most of us just hold the brakes with our feet during run up.
On other planes with in line hydraulic lock type parking brakes, they can be an
issue with both bleeding off pressure, and sticking, although

You need to tighten the caster nut on the nose wheel. You should feel
resistance when you lift the nose and swivel the nose gear.
There is no specified torque that I know of on that nut. I have all the Diehl
drawings and instructions.

Hi my Friends,
Yesterday we moved our plane to the airport. This was already a beautiful
moment. But also a bit stress full. Wil it all be oke on the trailer. WE arived
safe at the airport. Installed the wings, checked everyting. Did a runup test
so I could starting with the first taxi test.

Had a bad shimmy in my nosewheel when I installed the fairing last week.
So I pulled it off and installed new wheel bearings and tire. My question is
does the nylon washer need lubrication and what torque is needed on the spindle
nut?
Thanks

What engine are you using?
Tks,'Craig
Do not add any length forward of the spar. With the heavier engine, my cg is
more forward than typical. I can load items in the cargo, and have no worries
about aft CG. The fuse is about 4 inches wider and the widest point is at the
aft spar. Pl
