My experience is DO not lube the nose wheel nylon washer. ( makes the shimmy much worse). I found since I removed the spring, so the caster wheel will rotate 180 d so I can push it backwards to park, It needs that nut to be very tight, in fact it seems too tight by hand, but it needs to be. 73

Stef, I don't know of any KRs that use a parking brake, so you may not get an answer here. Most of us just hold the brakes with our feet during run up. On other planes with in line hydraulic lock type parking brakes, they can be an issue with both bleeding off pressure, and sticking, although
