To add a couple degrees would only move the upper or lower bracket's hole a
fraction of an inch. I would think that would be hard to do. Better to make new
attachment fittings for one side and replace them.
Perhaps an engineer might be able to say if you could enlarge for example, the

Dihedral is good. Why would you want to do that! That had to be a "tongue in

It is very difficult to move a hole...enlarging usually just results in a
larger hole in the same place...you can do it...it involves clamping a
large block with a predrilled hole to the part...use piloted reamers...then
ream up 1/64th at a time. Probably easier to make new fittings in this
case.
I wonder if I can shim my wing attachments to?create more?dihedral? ?I could
use some help with my instrument approaches ?too.

As I understand it you can build the Aerovee (which only comes as a kit) with
either 7:1 compression (for mogas) or 8:1 (for avgas). The others I think are
at least 8:1.

I'd be interested in a trade, if anyone else is...

Interesting. I had contacted Jan a few years ago when Motus was just getting
started and tallked to him about this new engine. I guess he took the idea and
ran with it. As far as the price I think it is a bit steep but there is an alot
of time and effort to bring any new product to market. I am
