The "real" molded Dragonfly canopies are not cheap, and this price is about what I've heard for several years now, since Slipstream sold out (or moved). Aircraft Windshield has a pretty good reputation. Mine was pretty steep and I probably bought it 18 years ago from Slipstream. Stef mentioned another source a few months ago, but I didn't follow the link and check the price or location. There are other alternatives as well, but unless it's used or damaged, it won't be cheap. Even damaged works, as Larry Flesner will tell you about the Pulsar(?) canopy he used. Willie Wilson used a Grob motorglider canopy turned backwards. The Thorp T-18 canopy looks good to me. Todd's makes one of the least expensive, and most people that have them are happy with them. Lots of choices... Mark Langford, Harvest, AL ML at N56ML.com www.N56ML.com
