Mike,
Superb idea! As a noob to this whole KR world, I haven't quite learned
how to navigate all the resources available. Gary from Canada also had a
similar approach. Armed with you guys' suggestions, I think I'll try
welding a modified 5/8" hole saw to the end of some 1/2" rigid metal
I think there's a time for building and a time for flying, but
sometimes you gotta take time to enjoy the view.

NetHeads,
A few months ago I sent out a request for new KR photos to grace the KRnet
website. I got no replies, so I forgot to do anything about it. But over the
weekend I got an email from Steve Glover at SNF giving me a hard time about
missing SNF, and that Joe Horton was having enough fun

I don't know about the landing lights, but I would take a piece of metal
conduit and shape one end like teeth on a saw and slowly twist it into the wing
from one end to the other cutting the foam ect. as you go. Then when you pull
it back out pull your wire with it.

Hey Guys and Gals,
I just got home from another great trip to SnF. I had my KR on display for
Steve Glover of the soon to be famous NVAero. Steve is putting a lot of effort
into creating a supply line and support for the KR line of homebuilt aircraft.
I am trying to do what ever I can to support

Greetings all,
Recently came to ownership of an 80% complete(ie.wings completed and
primered but ailerons and flaps not yet attached) KR2. Problem is, there
were no accommodations made for position, landing, strobe lights, etc. in
the wings. How can I add lighting without major body work?

I did that with 5inch hole on the bottom of my fuel tank to fix a leak.

The PO has installed only eight screws (that went into nuts),
the full length of the aileron. The
greatest interval between them was eleven inches. Recognizing afterward that
this wouldn?t be
very secure, he added some small woods screws later. That?s too cheesy for me

Yeah, I cut a tube once upon a time.

Glad to hear you are OK.
Well done on your first flight. I had an instructor with me, and I was still
shaking.
The KR can be exciting to land, but like any other plane, if it is set up on
final it will land OK.

Good`Ay Phil,
Better still to calculate HP you have to burn around 27 litres per hour to
make 100 hp.
US gallon = 3.78541178 litres Therefore adopt 3.7854
7 gall per hour = 26.4978 litres / 27 X 100 = 98.14 HP
OK 3.8 gallons per hr = 14.38452 litres / 27 X 100 = 53.276 HP
