US gallon = 3.78541178 litres Therefore adopt 3.7854 7 gall per hour = 26.4978 litres / 27 X 100 = 98.14 HP OK 3.8 gallons per hr = 14.38452 litres / 27 X 100 = 53.276 HP So if you are happy with the performance of your aircraft then the above doesn't matter a rats. If you claim 110 and 120 HP then the fuel burn must stack up too and with a Corsair driving a propeller I don't think so unless rpm is over way over 4,000 .
