Hey Guys and Gals, I just got home from another great trip to SnF. I had my KR on display for Steve Glover of the soon to be famous NVAero. Steve is putting a lot of effort into creating a supply line and support for the KR line of homebuilt aircraft. I am trying to do what ever I can to support and encourge the endevor. The weather was good altough a little windy, The crowd seemed to be a little thinner as well as the vendor areas did not look as full as previous years, But ooh the people that I met.Old friends that i get to see once or twice a year and and a whole new group of folks that i was pleased to meet. I really had a great time with Steve Glover, Roy S of Roys garage, WW and Grace, Pat P. and the Contact gang, The Britts were incredably entertaining. Scott V and the personal cruiser were in attendance. the booth Rick Lindstrom from Kit Planes stopped for a quick Chat and a never ending line of folks that stopped by the booth to look things over and talk KR's. I was completely amazed at the number of people that built, started, plan on starting and just plain are interested in the KR . The flight down from Pa. was great with tail winds all the way. I didn't figure it out yet but I thiink that it was less than 30 gals for a thousand mile trip in just little over 6 hours of flight time. I got out of Lakeland early on Saturday evening and had a nice hour long flight to my Mom's near X50. Stayed there for a couple days and came home today at about 9 am after the fog burned off. I paid the price for the tailwinds on the way home as they were head winds in the 15 to 20 mph range. Still it was great flying weather and The plan performed great again. Total time for the trip was 14. 4 hours, and I think that puts me just about 200 hours on Dan's 5th bearing. I have a with a few other toys to talk about using on the trip but I'll bore ya with those stories another day.
