Peel ply is supposed to be chemical free, so watch some fabrics in the fabric
dept at retail stores, some polyesters can have chemicals on them that might
not be good in a layup.

I use the same technique and laquer thinner for cleaning brushes that Mark
Langford uses. I keep a jar with a lid so when I finish cleaning my brush, I
place the lid on to prevent evaporation of what is left of my thinner, I am
sure Mark does as well.
Your soft layup sounds like a mis-mitxture

I installed 2 90* fittings on my KR with a 2180 and it really messed up the
fuel flow. I put a new fuel line with a nice sweeping bend and cured the
problem.

Anybody ever found an O2 Gauge that can actually be seen in the cockpit

Try this. May be the same one Mark L uses, but it's from Eckler's

Steve, I was using 94 octane autofuel with some Marvel Mystery Oil. I
usually run 94 octane auto fuel as long as outside temperature is under 68
degrees F (20 degrees C). If the temp is over then I will run 10
I've been using "polyester coat lining" from Wal-Mart; no real problems
removing it after the epoxy cures,
but I also use a plastic sheet (drip cloth from HD) over it and squeegee
everything well to remove as much
epoxy as possible, almost like a vacuum layup.

My gascolator does not have any cool air dire
Don't clean your brushes. Go to Harbor Freight and get some chip brushes. I
buy them by the box and they are cheap. Throwing them away does less damage to
the enviroment than cleaning them and worrying about what to do with the used
cleaning solution.

I have pondered and procrastinated for several months on the ideal
location for a gascolator. I had even considered not putting one on at
all. Knowing that this relatively heavy chunk would be the last-ditch
defense against universal water intrusion, it had to be low-point in the
fuel system for
I got some good advice on the trivial question of brushes. Some of it was
direct rather than on this list which makes me believe that some might be
intimidated (like I am). So I have another question. I was laying up some 2
layer BID for a flange. I was doing 4 and the first 2 went beautiful. I
My kr2 is a tail dragger. When I do this test, I do it tail down with
only 1 gallon of fuel in the 12 gal header tank, my system is gravity
fed.
I know that my fuel system will deliver 15 gal/hr using only the last
gallon of fuel (worst case).
I have also noted that after that one gallon has run

Yep, take a look at this one. Eight photos down the page. I have never had a
problem reading it in sunlight.

Anybody ever found an O2 Gauge that can actually be seen in the cockpit in
bright sunlight, like the standard pressure and temperature gauges? I
installed a bung and used it for a while, till the carbon clogged it up so
bad it would not work, but never could see it on that digital gauge.

First, I suggest that you talk to Joe at Revmaster, if you have not already
done so. He is very helpful.
I had severe sputtering, losing power, not sure that it was the same as what
you are experiencing because I could advance the throttle. I kept chasing
