Peel ply is supposed to be chemical free, so watch some fabrics in the fabric 
dept at retail stores, some polyesters can have chemicals on them that might 
not be good in a layup.

I've been using "polyester coat lining" from Wal-Mart; no real problems 
removing it after the epoxy cures,
but I also use a plastic sheet (drip cloth from HD) over it and squeegee 
everything well to remove as much
epoxy as possible, almost  like a vacuum layup.
